What are your booking and cancellation policies?
For birthday parties and other non-corporate events, we require a non-refundable deposit to be paid in advance to secure the date of your event. If your event date moves, you can apply the deposit to the new date.
We also require bookings to be paid in full at least 48 hours prior to the date of the event, unless otherwise agreed by the owner. Some events can be paid via digital payment or check on the day of the event.
For corporate events, we work with the terms of your company for payment, recognizing there may be Net 30 terms, or you may require the check to be sent out after services are rendered. Otherwise, we will send an invoice requiring payment for the full balance before the event.
The client agrees to pay 100% of the booking if the event is canceled and not rescheduled under 48 hours prior to the event date. We offer refunds only on a case-by-case basis due to emergency situations.
A 3.5% service charge will be added to credit card transactions. There are no fees on the following digital payment platforms: Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo.
How many kids can you serve in an hour?
Face Painting Artists are able to accommodate 12-15 children per hour on average. The overall number depends on the complexity of the design. Full face designs take longer than cheek or eye designs. Glitter tattoos can be applied to up to 20 kids per hour. Other services like balloon twisting depend on the intricacy of the design and range upward from a few minutes per design.
Are face painting and glitter tattoos safe for sensitive skin?
We only use FDA approved face painting products to ensure a safe and high-quality experience for our clients. The face paints we use are suitable for sensitive skin and wash off easily with soap and water or a baby wipe. Glitter tattoos are applied with body glue and loose body glitter.
I need multiple entertainers for an event. Is this possible?
Yes! We partner with professional artists all across the Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia area. For corporate events, we work out the logistics of coordinating with multiple artists and providing the services you need to make your event a success.
Do you offer discounts?
We have not raised our rates for face painting, glitter tattoos, or balloon twisting since starting our business in 2023. We also pay our artists a living wage. When you book a 2-hour party, your artist must allot time in their schedule to travel to your location, set up, work, clean up, and travel back. That being said, we offer a discounted rate of $125/hour on face painting, glitter tattoos, and balloon twisting when you book an art party.
We also offer a small discounted rate if you are a non-profit organization or school.
